What does Datajoy do?

We act as an intermediary between data subjects that seek to make their personal data available and data users. Currently only scorely.eu has been identified as a data user but we are happy to discuss partnerships as long as it is in accordance with relevant laws, is profitable and in accordance with our code of ethics.
We make technical and legal means available to enable such services, in particular enabling the exercise of the data subjects’ rights provided in Regulation (EU)2016/679.

What is the jurisdiction under which the data use is intended to take place?

Datajoy only stores data in the EU. When selecting suppliers that have access to individual's personal data, Datajoy's only selects suppliers where the jurisdiction is in the EU or if in the US where client side encryption is possible.

As an individual, do I retain control of my data?

Yes, you retain control of your personal data with Datajoy. You may ask us for information on the status of requests at any time, and inspect, filter or delete your data.
